Premium Hardwood Mulch
Our mulch is made from double-processed natural hardwood bark.

• Dark hardwood mulch is richer, thicker and fuller, and it decomposes easily.
• Our "Premium blend" is 100% pure hardwood much, so there is no mixing of chips, leaves or brush.
• Clean hardwood is put through a stringent regrinding and blending process.

Irvine Wood Recovery has been Ohio's leading safety surface supplier since 1994.  Playground Turf is a superior quality-engineered, wood-fiber material used on playgrounds, trails, walkways, parking areas and anywhere that active people, especially children, are apt to fall.
 
Through independent third-party testing, Playground Turf is a certified playground safety surface:

• International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) certified for  head injury criteria, 8 and 12-inch thickness proven safe from drops of up to 12 feet, ASTM F1292-04.
• IPEMA certified for sieve analysis and tramp metal test, ASTM F2075-04.
• American Disabilities Act certified for wheelchair accessibility, ASTM F1951.
• Meets or exceeds recommendations of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
